MEET URSULA

Beach X Change is proud to support the Sea Turtle Conservancy.  One of our special sea turtles just happened to be named Ursula, a perfect fit for our prayers to Saint Ursula, the patron saint of Ursuline Academy .  She  an adult female loggerhead sea turtle that was released with a satellite transmitter on July 27, 2019 from south of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, Florida. She measured 100.1 cm curved carapace (shell) length and 92.0 cm curved carapace width. Ursula is taking part in the 2019 Tour de Turtles and was named by her sponsor, Disney Conservation Fund. The Beach X Change mermaids are life-long Disney fans, too.  View migration map.
